Description:
Ever dreamed of powdery white sand, conch shells adorning the beach,
palm trees gently blowing in the wind? How about diving or snorkeling
in some of the most pristine waters around.... Look no further than
the paradise known as Costa Maya, only a two hours drive south from
the Riviera Maya.
With water at the barrier reef of Costa Maya's shore measuring 3 to
5 meters (10 to 15 feet), to 10 to 40 meters in depth (30 to 130 feet),
this sleepy sea side town of Mahauhal is a great place for novice divers
or expert divers to enjoy, as well as snorklers who'd rather stay floating
on top of the water.
Fish of all shapes, colors and sizes abound and water clarity make it
easy to spot such sealife as lobsters, to morray shells to colorful
parrotfish. Either above the surface, or below, the waters of Costa
Maya won't disappoint.
Mahahual is a quite town, with sand streets that have attracted people
looking to live in a relaxing environment. In this town where the time
passes slowly... our adventure is ready to start....
